There is a lot of council (social) housing in Belfast - most of it very plainly designed. Now that a lot of this housing has been sold off to residents, many people have decided to make their homes look more individual. The three door numbers are an unusual touch - I guess the owners had difficulty on deciding on a favourite, so decided to have them all!

I like the white plastic trellis on the walls, yet there is nowhere to pot up any plants to grow through them.
Although it's pretty bad, I have actually seen tackier around Belfast. Mr J. Adair's former residence in lower Shankill estate was one prime example.
I'm all for makings something your own. Go homeowner!

This all makes you think about the owners and their individualities. I like it.
An interedting photo. I like your narrative too and I also like the house.
I have celebrated this day, Mother's Day in my country, with a magazine cover for my wife. I hope you can see it.
yep individuality 3x15's worth of individuality
Great transformation, but after all that decorative work, have they sealed off their letter box? Lol. I bet each ornament and house number etc is from a special friend or relative... Sweet!
this is like the icing on cake, very pretty..Great find!
I'd love to go up the Shankill to take some photos - still trying to get my courage up!
