Belfast Eye


The 'Belfast Eye' is going up at a cracking pace - I took the first photo this morning, the second in the afternoon. (I see Dr Adder has beaten me to this post!)

Yes, opening soon and here until March. Apparently it cost £3m to bring over so I dread to think what the charge is going to be!

Dr Adder, I may well have done. Every time I've gone past there have been people taking photos of the wheel - we clearly don't get enough excitement in this town..

£6 for 4 turns. Quite good actually, I hear when the wind blows it whistles through the sides and can be a wee bit scary.
