If the Ulster Fry is our national meal, then this, I guess is the quick, on-the-run version. Bacon, egg and sausage, all fried and served in soda bread. Not very healthy - but, judging by the number of cafes in town selling it- a very popular breakfast. Soda bread is lovely however, especially when very fresh. It is quick to make and a good bread for anyone avoiding yeast. That sounds absolutely delicious to me, but when I first saw the photo I thought it mean "sausage-flavored soft drink" which changed the meaning a bit!
LOL, just like Victoria - when I first saw it, I thought "who drinks soda with their breakfast?" ;-)))
However, I do love my soda bread!
It's a while since we had any Irish soda bread [try and stick to healthy wholemeal these days] but yes it would be lovely with bacon/egg/sausage.
I too thought soda meant a soft-drink and I thought £1.99 wasn't a bad price if it included a can of pseudocoke, but seemingly that's extra.

Cybez, I did feel bad not putting on a pancake-day related post, but I didn't see anything good in town and my homemade pancakes tonight were tasty but not particularly photogenic!
Pat, I've put your link on - sorry I didn't have it on before, I'm still not terribly proficient at this blogging stuff! (I haven't forgotten about Merville Garden Village - I just haven't had a chance to get up to north Belfast yet.) The weather has really picked up here over the past few days, blue skys and looking like spring at last..

Cybez. Agreed! I recently bought a TZ1 to enable me to take photos from a safe distance, but I'm still feeling a bit nervous about taking shots with people in them - the people at St Georges were lovely but as you say, in certain parts of town I wouldn't fancy my chances! Not on Flickr (still too much of a luddite, I must look into it)
