hi there thanks for visiting my lil sanctuary on the world wide web and im glad my blog makes u wanna visit philippines.. keep the photo's coming i love to visit all the city in the world atleast by dailyphoto's for now...hehe
I think Abe' may have hit the nail on the head - instead of painting this particular electric box (see a previous post) they have decorated it with a shoe sculpture (c:
Well the shoe was still there on Tuesday morning, but gone today. The odd thing about it was that it was buckled. (So how did it fall off?) Or perhaps a shoe thief dropped it?
I take your point about the lambeg drum, it is indeed much bigger than the one I photographed. (Which leads to another question - one probably best not answered (!) - why was there blood on it?)
re Lambeg drum and blood - not so sinister - it comes from the welts caused by the friction between the drumstick and the drummer's fingers or their knuckles bating against the drumskin. (any good prod would know that (c: ) and if you don't have blood on your drum then you're not a proper Lambeg drummer. Sounds like a theme for a Limerick - so how about a contest? See who can think up the funniest/craziest Limerick re a Lambeg drum!
