bird on the bellsbridge bus

This blackbird (?) sat on the bus stop sign this morning for at least 15 minutes (certainly until my bus - heading in the other direction - finally arrived). Maybe he was waiting for a bus too - tired wings maybe? As a regular user/victim of the slow torture that is Belfast's bus service, I think he'd be better off flying.

we have almost a similar theme today - signposts/bus stops - enamel things with words on them.

jeez these word verification thingies are getting longer.

I think it's a crow -- the beak of a blackbird is yellow (I believe) sorree!

I think it's a 'common raven' -- the beak of a blackbird is yellow (I believe) sorree!

Maybe he/she was waiting for a friend to arrive on the bus.

it reminds me of the seagull I saw waiting for a bus in Llandudno
