robin

Sweet little robin - I tried to get a little closer, but of course I stepped on a twig and the robin was gone..

The French word is "rouge-gorge" which means "red throat" :)

The robin is also know as the robin red breast - not sure how it became a robin, maybe because the british like to personalise things ??
