Rushing through town this morning on my way to work, I saw this small cable car being offloaded from a truck. I didn't have time to stop and ask what was happening, and now I'm really wondering why on earth anyone would need a cable car in the city centre??

I have no idea why but I just glanced down on your post yesterday and saw the two ladies and smiled from ear to ear. Nice photographs -- you take.
I just posted a story about my wife's last radiation treatment, for breast cancer, and then our walk afterwards in Nature, and our encounter with President Bush's airplane.

A new ski resort next winter in Belfast???!
I came to thank you for visiting my blog, yesterday, and for your comments about Patty's last radiation treatment. She was so pleased that I heard from so many people, including Eric, and I know it made her day extra-special. She was also surprised that some of you also visited her blog and left comments there. So thank you for your visit and comments. Being new to the community, it was a big surprise to us. Thanks again.

Wasn't that at the back of the Belfast Tourist Information Centre? Maybe they're stealing all the cable cars from the Heights of Abraham to stop all us Belfast folk from fleeing over there....

thanks for these - and yes, stephen barnes, your suggestion about the giant's park is probably right. I took the photo in fountain street right at the back of the tourist information centre and also just outside the PLACE offices - I guess either of them could be running an exhibit on the new park...
