The snow has long gone and the hills around the city look a lot more spring-like. These photographs were taken at around 8.00am this morning.

The photos are still nice. And it won't be too long before they are filled with colors that remind you of summer.Wow!

Beautiful view of the city. I like those rocks.
You have a great variety of views. Looking at the one with snow that has Windsor House in it (tallest building in Belfast) and the City Hall but the new ones don't have either of those buildings but you can see the city hospital. And then all the way over to the Cave Hill. You must be able to see the majority of the city. :o)
you have such a great vantage point to have shot this image! Its great to see the landscape in such a composition
tres beau paysage et belles photos.
Je te souhaite un bon weekend
very beautiful landscape and beautiful photographs. I wish you a good weekend
Thanks for your comments - we are lucky to have a good view here - the downside is the walk up from the bus stop...:(
theeadversary - yep, I leant out the window a bit further this time to get a shot over to the west (if there's a report on newsline about a middle aged housewife falling from a first floor window, it'll be me)
We can see most of the north and west of the city from here. We would be able to see more of the east and the lough if it weren't for the neighbours and their damned leylandii
ps, what is this darkest star business then? all sounds very mysterious
Ah you must've gotten that off my icon url. :o)
Not exciting at all. Its got a photo gallery etc for mates. Its actually completely done at the minute. Best thing we had on was a wiki for our holidays. Amazing how the group memory of a weekend in Donegal comes out very differently from one persons perspective. :o)
Ah, very wholesome then. I'm slightly disappointed - we were imagining somthing a little more lurid!
Well we have had some good weekends, but perhaps not quite that good. :o)
